My name is Ro and as CEO of Sugah Essentials, I wanted to create lip products to revolutionize the market for people of color looking for affordable products.

 

This company started when my sister, who is several shades darker than me, could not find the perfect lip-tint for her skin tone. She was flustered by trying various brands that either did not match her skin or caused a reaction when it did match. I hoped to create a line of products that made her feel comfortable on all fronts. Now I want to bring that to you. 

 

Our mission is to build a brand that is the staple of high-quality, high-class  and affordability combined. We strive to challenge customers to change their standard of lip, eyes, and face products, among other cosmetics. After much trial and error, my sister and I came forth with a product that was mostly organic, vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, and sulfate-free.
